Rokkan if you can make the first sprite, I could probably make the sheet. After all, you are the fanboy who wanted him all this time in the first place. I think it would turn out much better if you did it honestly.

I was working on this one last night. He's too big and too wide for his size, also didn't sprite the shoes yet.

I prefered to start with his first design, because doing this one will make doing the other two much easier to do, IMO.
Now, before anyone edits this, I'll just give a warning: do not try to give light to his eyes His cat-like eye from the first Klonoa had a very small light, so small that the ones that made the sprites to the original game don't even bother putting them (except on very large sprites like the ones from the last cutscenes). If you're going to do his other costumes/designs, however, I guess you can put light on them, since their eyes are more similar to Sonic's. But I'll probably do those other two clothes soon.

Plus, we should have all three costumes in, as I said. And it's easier to start with this design to edit the rest later, because this design has a more difficult to sprite hat and eyes. And the other two are very similar to each other.

I think you should blot out the animation's head/shoe/body shapes before adding outline and shading it an stuff :X. Right now it just looks like you've been editing Rokkan's base sprite.
