RE: Slime - Ton - 12-12-2009

Pretty hilarious. Might I suggest the bat or imp?

Like the slime, everything except the eye region is moving. I suggest to animate the feelers as well, just a little bit shaking.

Maybe a touch too small, maybe not. You decide.

@Heat Miser: Okay I can try.

@Davias: I'll see what I can do about the feelers.

Yeah, the proportions are way off... and the "bat" is called "dracky".

That's right. I couldn't remember.

I like this topic. Good stuff man.

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - TomGuycott - 12-13-2009

These are awesome. I know this is asking a little much, so I don't actually expect to see it any time soon, but maybe you could do Necrosauro? Or are you only doing staple monsters that appear in multiple DQ games?

Which of the forms? Surely you don't want...*gulp*...them all? And while I could possibly give it a shot, I doubt I could ever animate it without losing my sanity.

Speaking of animations, here's one. Chimaera.

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - Ton - 12-15-2009

Pretty neat. Cool stuff.

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - Cshad - 12-15-2009

His body is pretty static. I'm pretty sure his body wouldn't bend that way flapping up and down.

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - Neslug - 12-15-2009

The up-down movement is pretty minor so I don't think these's an absolute need for body movement. Or maybe I'm just using that as an excuse because I wouldn't know how to animate it. Care to elaborate?

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 12-15-2009

Make more of the tail move. Maybe starting from where it bends away from the body.
These are great. Big Grin

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - Neslug - 12-15-2009

Hmm, maybe I should try it. Thanks.

RE: Dragon Quest monsters - Helmo - 12-15-2009

Bro, you got talent, do you have a PJ account?
Also yeah, maybe you should look at some official animations.
