From what I remember of DBZ wasn't Nail friendly?

Never having played this game, I can only guess maybe some sort of boss (or area) battle via "sparring" or "testing" or something like that. That makes sense, right? Plenty of games have had you face off against allies while neither party was under the control of mind/body possession for some sort of test or friendly spar.
Either that, or you control a villain character at some point.
