Del, maybe you could make a topic in Games Development and tell us what's going on with the project/tell us if we can submit suggestons/tease us with footage?

Hmm, well, yeah I think I can make a topic showing what's the game about, the current project's state, and post the updates in there. Shodian, one of our developers, just uploaded a video of King Boo's boss battle, using the sprites we submitted not long ago:

Sadly, the game's big developers are currently revising the game's status, and are very strict about suggestions. No more suggestions for levels, characters, plot, basically everything, so all we can do is post the current game's updates as they come.

I'll see what they think, perhaps they would like to do it themselves Smile

That explosion is hilarious at the end of the fight.

Yeah, they still have to code a good death animation for most Mario enemies xD

The Koopalings explode too haha, okay, I talked with the devs, and they liked the idea of making a topic here as well, I had to ask for permission. So I guess I'll do it! We can use this topic for sprite submissions, and the one in the Game Development to show updates and get feedback Smile

Thanks!

Do you plan on submitting Roll's sprites?

Yes, I got NO Body's sprite sheet, but it was missing one of her power ups, I have to put them in there as well.

Question AND statement:

Q: Do I have to DL all 3 of those links to play MKF?
S: Epic sprites! I know some1 who will like that 16-Bit Megaman! =D

RE: Mushroom Kingdom Fusion's sprites submissions - A.J. Nitro - 02-13-2010

So are you gonna be ripping everything from the game like Robotnik, or just certain stuff?

1) We dont need to rip them, most of these can be found on our forums, its just a matter of finding them and constructing the sheets
2) We will likely submit most of the custom/ edited sprites in the game

RE: Mushroom Kingdom Fusion's sprites submissions - A.J. Nitro - 02-13-2010

Oh ya, that's what I meant, so that answers my question.

You have to download the main file and the dlls to play the game. The music is optional, and you have to put it in a folder named "music" whever you unzip the game.

Also, nice! Make sure you let us know if anyone actually uses them Smile

As for the sprites question, yeah, we dont rip anything at all, I created a topic in our forums to gather the custom sprite works everyone has made. Their submissions get revised there first before I post anything here, and like Moneyman said, its just original customs or edits.

I know you didnt ask this one, but I wont be submitting original rips here. Whatever sprites/tiles I've been ripping from original games, I submit them in their respective section, not here. This is all custom or edited.

That's even better since custom/edits are more exciting than original rips.

Thanks mate!
Don't worry, I'll make sure you're attributed properly when they are! Big Grin

I'd love to know a list of things in this game so I know what to expect in this topic. I can't wait to see more awesome sprites. I love well-done customs!
