Are they as exotic and crazy as the older ones? Like Missingno and the Mew glitch?

Missingno still exists-- just not in the same form.

He's been found in every game to date.

I severely doubt this. All Legendary pokémon have much higher BSTs than the majority (if not all) fully evolved non-legends. Lati@s may be an exception, but Soul Orb pushes them up into the range of the others again. The Trios of each gen also have lower BSTs, but they're still well in the range of the highest.

what the fuck is a bst?

RE: Pokemon, what happened to you? - GrooveMan.exe - 03-01-2010

Ah sorry. Base Stat Total. In some cases it doesn't matter; but in most it's the main reason why (for example) you'd find Venusaur stronger than Victreebel; even though they're the same typing and learn similar moves.

Even this little shit?

And this one?

Or are these just not legendaries and their placing in the Pokedex is totally random?

theyre the mew of the 4th gen

both of them.

I literally do have a box just for legendaries and I don't even have remotely close to all of them.

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/stat/all.shtml top 100 pokemon with highest total base stats

just to show who's a legendary and who isnt, and those who arent are psuedo-legendary(dragonite, garchomp, metagross, etc.)

580 and up is the limit, anything below that is nonlegendary (lucario is all the way at the bottom for retards who still think he's anything close to a legendary)

RE: Pokemon, what happened to you? - TomGuycott - 03-02-2010

There's a lot of Pokemon that shouldn't be called "Legendaries", just "super retarded rare" pokemon, even though in the game programing there's only one unique way to get them ONLY once. However, you can't blame them for having new legendaries every generation, that's essentially reducing the number of Pokemon. What you CAN blame them for is exponentially increasing the number of Legendaries per generation.

Gen 1: 5
Gen 2: 6
Gen 3: 10 (One of which had 3 forms)
Gen 4: 13 (Two of which had 2 forms)

So yeah, the AMOUNT of Legendaries per game is constantly increasing. They should cool off on that a tad. What would be kind of cool is more UNIQUE Pokemon, kinda like the Red Gyrados. Basically, Pokemon you only meet once in the game, maybe a variation of an existing one, maybe a cool one you can only get once or in one way, but not necessarily a Legendary. One thing Pokemon lacks is good boss fight Pokemon. That's kind of due to the nature of the game, though, I suppose.

OH, and in comment to the song, it's a fun and funny song. But if he's really serious, then just play the classics and stop crying tears of nostalgia.
