RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - Rökkan - 05-04-2010 I love Darkstalkers and their characters, I love them so much. I'm so sick of Morrigan everywhere, where's Gallon/Talbain, Hsien-Ko, Demitri, Zabel/Raptor, and fucking JEDAH. Jedah uses his OWN BLOOD to attack. Jedah is like the most badass and creepy fighting game character. RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - Rökkan - 05-04-2010 i totally forgot about that attack holy shit also the stage that you fight jedah in is so fucking creepy, it's like you're inside a womb facing a giant devilish fetus RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - Vipershark - 05-04-2010 my friend had the PSP version and he loved it now i want a psp even more because i want to play this game RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - JarJar - 05-04-2010 (05-04-2010, 02:31 PM)Rökkan Wrote: i totally forgot about that attack holy shit actually it was called Fetus of God/Creator's Fetus. also viper psp version owns, its all games in one plus more features. RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - Helmo - 05-04-2010 I wish there was a Darkstalkers for the NGPC. :C That would be so rad... RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - X Gamer 66 - 05-04-2010 I love Darkstalkers. while I feel the gameplay is a bit clunky, The characters and special moves are hilariously awesome. And Jedah has the greatest laugh ever. RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - JarJar - 05-04-2010 about the psp version: for some reason people used to bitch about the controls, not being able to fireball or whatever. this isn't true, apparently the original psp either had weird d-pad controls or people just sucked(i think this was the case). but psp slim/3000 dpads are just fine(even the fighters generation said it was fine, and people used "i suck as fighters" as an excuse), sadly it doesnt have analog control, but im personally okay with that since ive always played with dpad for ps1. moves are pretty easy to pull off (if you do the move accordingly and calmly and not bashing on the buttons like a raging nerd, otherwise specials wont activate), this game pretty much tries to teach you to be calm performing specials, because thats important for any fighting game. (for those who cant play, button mashing is still pretty fun, youll pull off more shit even though youll have no idea what youre doing) also you can configure the buttons to anything, any 1-3 commands in 1 button, you can pretty much set up specials to your liking in every way possible, not to mention being able to pick any of the character's fighting styles from any game. so if youve only played darkstalkers 1, dont fret, you can pick that fighting style and go along with that, they even gave newer characters from 2 and 3 slight changes so they fit in the style of 1/2. fighting styles to choose from: darkstalkers night warriors: darkstalker's revenge darstalkers 3 (vampire savior) darkstalkers 3 (vampire savior/hunter 2) RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - DJGameFreakTheIguana - 05-04-2010 Yeah, Darkstalkers really needs a comback, it's one of the best fighting games capcom ever made, along with Jojo's Bizzare adventure. Both games are the sh*t! X) RE: Any of you bums familiar with Darkstalkers - Dolphman - 05-04-2010 wonder what new characters could be. of course, might be inspired by classic horror films/stories or other sources. already, you got Dimitri - Bela Lugosi's Dracula Anakaris - The Mummy (Boris Karloff) Victor - again, Boris Karloff (Frankenstein's monster) Rikuo - Creature from the Black Lagoon Jon Talbain - Lon Chaney Jr's Wolfman and Bruce Lee? Lord Raptor - Iron Maiden's Eddie the Head Sasquatch - mixture of Bigfoot, Yeti, and related cryptids Felicia - Curse of the Cat-Woman (1967 Poem by Edward Field) and i think a bit of Sonic the Hedgehog still, a sequel should be great. |
