RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Ton - 06-11-2008 Ah, I remember when Nack/Fang was still used. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Dazz - 06-12-2008 Woo! This was back when Amy actually didn't annoy the crap out of me, and I thought she had a cool character design RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Yawackhary - 06-12-2008 Added: Playing this tripe was painful so painful that the developers went bust after making this game. Oh well... at least it has a Giant Enemy Oyster Crab. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Dazz - 06-13-2008 I can't say I ever played this one :o But Love it. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Solink - 06-13-2008 I HATED this game Still nice rips will you rip sonic? RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Yawackhary - 06-13-2008 Added: Maybe completely rubbish at Castlevania but that is indeed all of them (since Konami use tricks to make a few sprites look smoother) unless Smithy proves otherwise. Solink Wrote:I HATED this game Sonic is already fully ripped by Technokami, but it is under Sonic Chaos since they share the same style. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Dazz - 06-13-2008 Awesome! Way to go Yawackhary Plan on ripping any more CV? RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Yawackhary - 06-13-2008 Dazz Wrote:Plan on ripping any more CV? Might as well but it will take a little while to get use to this great game. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Yawackhary - 06-18-2008 After about a few months of experimenting, I finally succeeded: My first Amiga sprite rip and possibly the first on tSR? (Don't know if Soccer Kid that Dazz ripped was from the SNES or the GBA or indeed the Miggy) Just don't expect many since it took a while doing this (the recolouring of the pallete took more than the ripping). RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Ton - 06-18-2008 I know nothing about Amiga, but the sheet looks good. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - SmithyGCN - 06-18-2008 I think you did well on the zombies, Yawackhary. How did you get rid of the flames that covered their death poses? RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Dazz - 06-19-2008 Love it! The amiga had tonnes of classics that should be ripped, but they're all a bastard to do. I might look into it myself in the future. RE: Yawackhary's Submissions - Yawackhary - 06-19-2008 Added: Thanks to Smithy for that link that came in very handy... SmithyGCN Wrote:I think you did well on the zombies, Yawackhary. A trade secret that I might as well tell you since you (and any other MD/Genny rippers) deserve it. I use an emulator called GensKMod which is an edited version of Gens for programming and debugging purposes, one of its features is a sprite viewer (rather similar to an OAM Viewer in Visual Boy Advance) which I use nearly all the time due to many many games have compression. If the sprites aren't there, sometimes I look at the VDP. The only problem is the possiblity of a black background, some games don't use it (like Castlevania) and others like Sonic Spinball heavily rely on it which I use other methods of ripping it. If BAB, Dazz, Tonberry or Grooveman want to archive this tip, they are free to do so. O_O does it work with Shining Force 1/2? |
