Are you guys finally starting again on cloud Journey? I remember it about a year ago, but didn't hear much about it afterwards. Good to know it's back up!
Nin revived Cloud Journey a couple of months ago. We've been getting through the basics and working on tiles and such for now.

The bean's hat is kind of flat compared to the rest of it's body. Not much else crit on single base sprites.

Lady Lima is her name. And I tried to fix what was flat on them real quick:
[Image: ml3.png]If I didn't fix it, could y'all tell me what I need to make it less flat? Thank you guys for the wonderful comments.

And about Cloud Journey, yes we are working on it. It's going to be a PixelxCore game. I'm one of the spriters as well as one of the designers of the game now. I love designing stuff, it's so much fun lol Right now, I'm currently working on the bird enemy's attack and a bear that I've designed for the game as well. I might show them too.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Gors - 08-08-2010

the outline on her hood isn't smooth, but that might be because of those ugly gray outside AA from the style.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Chris2Balls [:B] - 08-09-2010

The AA on the sprites is erratic, and I don't like what's going on around the penguin's eyes.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Star - 09-06-2010

I was basing the penguin's eyes off of one of the characters from M&L:BiS. I thought it looked odd too. Also by erratic..could you explain it to me more?
And actually Gorsal, I believe it isn't smooth cause of how I made my outer lines. I'll need to fix that.
I still need to fix the bird's feet in his animation aofafan

For now, here's another creature that I made for Cloud Journey. I'm sure theres still quite a few things wrong with it..I just recently fixed it up from some other problems.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Sengir - 09-06-2010

The only issue i see is that at first glance it looks like he's holding his cheeks (the yellow lines look like fingers)

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Kitsu - 09-06-2010

Yeah, it's kinda hard to tell exactly what those yellow things are. Are they his hands, or his cheeks, or something else entirely?
But otherwise, it looks great.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Ton - 09-07-2010

Wow, Star. You just keep getting better and better.
Loving it. Not surprisingly, that Wario is hilarious and awesome.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Star - 09-07-2010

Hmm...I see yall's point now that I look at it more. Any suggestions as to what I may do to fix this problem? They're really suppose to be markings, not hands or whatever. Thank yall for the help.

And thank you, Ton. I'm trying my best to get better : D And oh Wario...he'll see the sun again someday.
And it's attack animation will be made soon..here's just a preview of it:

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Adam - 09-07-2010

Looking great as always, man!

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - GrooveMan.exe - 09-07-2010

they look like hands because of the position of those... idk, 'indentations' of blue on yellow. Remove or change the position of them to fix it.

RE: Star's Spriting Topic - Star - 09-09-2010

Thank you, Dex and GrooveMan. : D
I moved it a bit more "behind" him so I believe that might've helped..and I might an alternative one to where I made the markings seem less crisp as the rest of the sprite. Not sure which approach would be better:
