Well, to be fair Pokémon games work within a single series; whereas Korean MMOs as a genre (maybe genre isn't the right word, but you get what I mean), don't all need to be the same thing regurgitated.
While I do see this as an impressive leap from the original; it just means that Ragnarok is just up to date with generic MMOs instead of hella old.
