I hope you're living it up in Sprite-Comic Heaven. SMRPG! Ooh, that was a nasty cough. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Vipershark - 07-23-2010 no, ff6 is definitely better RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Cobalt Blue - 07-23-2010 yes it is, but then theres such a vast library of quality rpgs you can pick on the snes that you'll have always somethign taht would fit you. on a personal choice i'd pick Front Mission. on the topic subject, Chronno Trigger. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Cshad - 07-23-2010 Play both. Then play Mother 3 because it's better than Earthbound in almost every single way. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Cobalt Blue - 07-23-2010 to add to my previous post, both Front mission games were awesome on their own. same as both chronno trigger and earthbound. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - JackMan - 07-23-2010 Just started playing a couple hours ago. ... It's just so slow. I know most RPGs are like that at first But Jesus I regret not turning text on "Fast" Chrono is definitely better. Plus, it takes you 16 enemies to make one level up. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Vipershark - 07-23-2010 oh wow how did i forget front mission great game RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Cshad - 07-23-2010 Why are you playing both at the same time? Hell; if you've only just started playing two games a few hours ago, you're not far enough into either game to judge it. To jump the gun like that is retarded. You don't deserve to play either of them thinking like that :E RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - JackMan - 07-23-2010 (07-23-2010, 11:42 PM)Gabe Wrote: Why are you playing both at the same time? That's a good point But look at it this way How many people on the internet do you think do that I'm not saying i'm trollin on the game, but the battle system is very slow. I know how the game ends, how it's played, the story and all. So, I could judge it a little. Nah, I said in the first post that I was halfway through Chrono. Chrono's badass. You know why? Talking frog with sword. (That cuts through mountains) 'Nuff said. RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Vipershark - 07-23-2010 am i the only one who finds earthbound to be really hard RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - water dog - 07-23-2010 comin back in again to recommend live-a-live again thanks see ya! RPGs are forever better with timed hits. (*SMRPG*) RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Vipershark - 07-24-2010 you'll like mother 3 then it has (multiple) timed hits, plus combos iirc you can hit an enemy up to 16 times per attack if you're good and can hit all the times hits perfectly RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - JackMan - 07-24-2010 Timed hits... Sounds awesome But. How would you know when to hit? There's nothing indicating when your (Insert weapon here) will hit them, is there? Ooh, I know another good topic that isn't necessarily big enough to start a THIRD thread on. What, do you think, Giygas is? RE: Earthbound or Chrono Trigger? - Cshad - 07-24-2010 Why don't you play the game/s and find out? I mean seriously it's all explained in game |
