RE: Arc The Lad III - Davy Jones - 08-07-2010 nope, it's not working. Try epsxe and make two or three savefiles from different locations/maps, I will test if the game is easy to rip or not. ah, and get Winrar (freeware), this program allows you to pack several savefiles into one archive. As I can see from your edit, I think you've already solved the problem. I realy Do ^o^ http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LH783H4I Another one... ![]() RE: Arc The Lad III - Davy Jones - 08-07-2010 I tested both savefiles, the palettes are not very nice. - Tilesets: Position 497-500, 16 steps-grid, each part of the tileset has their own colours. It's not possible to trigger one palette and get the whole set. You have to get the colour for each texture block/object like in Alundra, it's very annoying. - Charsets: They are all splitted up and it seems (I'm not sure) that one sprite set needs two palettes: http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5890/snag1008.png palette for bracelet, skin. http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2838/snag1007.png palette for suit. http://a.imageshack.us/img405/9515/snag1010.png complete fighter All in all, it's really bad and would be very time consuming to rip. If you really want it, you can have a tutorial: http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/showthread.php?tid=8896&pid=278464#pid278464 RE: Arc The Lad III - Pamela The Fira Angel - 08-07-2010 Yay, thanks..... And Thanks again ^o^ (08-07-2010, 10:04 PM)Davias Wrote: - Charsets: No, in this part we have 2 fighters.... i think one is Damage, and the other is fine, the date problabe is not the best, thats the way this thing happend, i think ![]() RE: Arc The Lad III - Davy Jones - 08-07-2010 no problem, I'm always looking for some RPGs which are good to rip, therefore it's not really a waste of time looking in different savefiles ![]() edit: yes, I'm not sure about these palettes, maybe you can find out. RE: Arc The Lad III - Cobalt Blue - 08-08-2010 guess this thread is over, and anyother inquires should be directed to the Ripping Questions thread c: |
