Something I Wrote Wrote:*takes a quick sip of Mountain Dew*

Good evening, Deviantart.com. I just got back from Gamestop, so I thought I'd open up my laptop and post a quick Journal! After browsing DA for a good month or so, I thought I'd finally give it a shot and join this wonderful community. I'm an artist of sorts, but not in the traditional sense of the term. I think of art as a form of expression that shows who you are, but in a form of media everyone can see. My art, therefore, defines me as a person. I'll be posting alot of art on DA, hopefully, because I tend to make alot of it! I accept crits of any kind, and of course, compliments of any kind. Whatever floats your boat, m8.

So, let's get back to the Gamestop bit. I was having a real urge to play some fighting games this morning, can't really explain it. Checked my video game collection: No fighting games to be found! Even my limited edition Street Fighter 4 case was missing! I checked every square inch of my apartment but couldn't find a single fighting game, not even a copy of Mortal Kombat! Outraged, I stormed off to Gamestop in hopes of picking up a few.

As I entered the giant glass door that stood before me into the holy grail of gamers, I was greeted by a woman. A woman working at Gamestop? Surely this must be a mistake, women can't game! I asked her what her top 3 favorite games were, she quickly named off:

1. Metal Gear Solid 2
2. Gears of War
3. Scarlet Weather Rhapsody (東方緋想天)

I stumbled back, in shock that a female could know of such high-caliber games. She was truely a gaming goddess, one only portrayed in God of War... I got on my knees and bowed before the deity, graciously asking her to find it in her gaming heart to show me the fighting game section of Gamestop. She led me to a corner of the store I had never seen before, a corner FULL of fighting games. Games I'd never even heard of before! I quickly grabbed a copy of Street Fighter 4, grabbing multiple other games as I did. I ran to the checkout counter and slammed all the games on the table; I knew this was too good to be true so I tried to work as quick as possible. The clerk slowly rang up every game, one by one my heartbeat grew faster and faster. As he scanned the final game my heart stopped as I heard him whipser,

"That will be $130, sir."

I grabbed my wallet and threw every bill I had in it at him, it was more than enough I'm sure. As I headed out the door I yelled "Keep the change! Arigato!". I sat down in my car and breathed a heavy sigh of relief as I held the games against my chest.

Today was a great day for gaming.

We just got one. apparently the JitB people were screwed by the NM government some time ago for some reason and left for like 10 years.
