Someone mentioned Chillcore before, and that pretty much describes me.
I play games to have fun, yet I consider myself to be a hardcore gamer. While I don't necessarily get into the more competitive areas of games and go REALLY hardcore like some fps players and stuff, I still like a challenge and dislike shovelware. A friend of mine has this weird mindset where if it's not photorealistic, it's not good. His benchmark for how good something is is how closely it resembles the max settings of Crysis. I showed him minecraft once, and he couldn't stop telling me how bad it sucks because everything is blocks.

Castlevania 2 is by far the best of the NES Castlevanias. 1 and 3 sucked. Yes, I just went there.
Also OoT is better than MM.
