RE: DS games to get - Rosencrantz - 08-21-2010 yes please get all Ace Attorney games first three are a legitimate challenge and you *really* need to think outside the box to beat them Apollo Justice and Miles Edgeworth are much easier AA games but still play them in order it'll make a ton of sense AND you'll shit a lot of bricks as you see characters return throughout the series RE: DS games to get - Keychain - 08-21-2010 (08-21-2010, 11:23 AM)masterofdioga Wrote: gonna add that we could give less of a shit to none if you like it. who are you and why do i care RE: DS games to get - Rosencrantz - 08-21-2010 can we literally go one thread without a Keychain-related shitstorm? I mean really, guys : ( on that note, Henry Hatsworth is a bitch of a platformer glad you decided to add that on your list : D RE: DS games to get - DioShiba - 08-21-2010 oh shit almost forgot about pokemon platinum and kirby super star ultra. RE: DS games to get - Sol - 08-21-2010 Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift Kirby Canvas Curse Kirby Superstar Ultra Meteos New Super Mario Bros. Super Mario 64 DS The World Ends with You I wouldn't recommend Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days unless you're a big Kingdom Hearts fan. The story is good, (but will be lost on you without at least playing KH2 first) there's a lot more character customization, and the gameplay stays mostly true to the other games, but the levels and missions they have you doing are really mediocre, and I found that playing the game on a DS Lite was very annoying. (A D-pad that sinks into the console should NEVER be used like a control stick, it borders on painful) On the other hand, being able to play the missions cooperatively (after unlocking them in single player) with up to 3 other people using over 14 different characters is much more fun than by playing by yourself. RE: DS games to get - Cobalt Blue - 08-24-2010 so you have to play the horrible part of the game on your own to unlock the game and find other 1-3 dudes who already did so to replay the game you just beated and thats the only way it will be good? oh yeah, get Bangai-O Spirits. Pretty much. Most of the game is passable actually, but the only time I imagine anyone going, "hey, this is pretty great" is when you're working together with friends. It's more of a bonus to those who end up getting the game, not a reason to buy it. Well, no. The main game itself is pretty good; just not fun for everyone. Case in point: I know Bangai-O Spirits is a good game, but I don't like it. It's not a genre I really enjoy. There isn't much point in reccomending games *you* enjoy; mostly since OP isn't buying games for you, they're for himself. :V I recall Rags saying he dislikes the Kingdom Hearts series, so I wouldn't personally reccomend 358/2 Days to him. Nice and simple. RE: DS games to get - Gors - 08-24-2010 Bangai-O is good (I played the N64 version; shooting 200 missiles at once is soooooo omfg), never tried the DS one. I don't have good suggestions for DS games because I don't have a DS and thus I know so little about its games (I got them by emulating). I suggest Kirby Super Star Ultra and the Castlevania games, but that's it |
