the opening scene in final fantasy seven is still pretty awe inspiring, because it sets the stage for a pretty large scale story, and even though the earlier games in the series are great, i still dont think they match up to the scale final fantasy seven had.

GOD DAMNIT. This made me tear up so much as a kid, playing this game. I never actually disowned any of my chao, but just hearing this + looking at that chao icon with him about to walk off into the forest always made me tear up. Jesus..

Burnout Paradise. Your first time going down the entire mountain at full speed while making split second adjustments to throttle and steering puts you so far in the zone that it's like you're part of the game itself.

Just Cause 2. Your first time skydiving.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Kefka is just better then Sephiroth in all ways because the worst Sephiroth does is kill a flower girl and the worst Kefka did was become a god and bring on the apocalypse to try and bring on the end of the world. (Yes I base my opinions on games over how great the villain was.)
