RE: Need some explanations. - XPilot - 09-09-2012 Incidentally, I am trying to do the exact same thing as the OP! Unfortunately, this thread seems to have died without a real solution... I see that Pokepark Wii has tons of models already posted on this site. Each pokemon model has a DAE, OBJ, SMD, and PSK file, along with some PNG textures. I can open the DAE and OBJ files in Blender, but can't see any animations. This might be because I don't really know what I'm doing, but maybe the animations are in the PSK file? I saw a tutorial somewhere else on this site that described how to rip animations, but as PSA files. Should I try that, or just use what is already uploaded? RE: Need some explanations. - Previous - 09-09-2012 I still don't see why you had to bump this about two year old topic instead of making a new one since these old posts are likely not going to help anyone helping you. I'll let it slide this once, but think twice next time. As for your issue, I'm not into models, but it may be likely that there are no animations stored with the models at all. SO the best bet would be to make your own? RE: Need some explanations. - Garamonde - 09-09-2012 To answer your question, no, we did not include the animations in with the Pokémon. Just export the .PSAs with BRRES Viewer. |
