RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Saltonara - 03-22-2011 Well DirectX 8 helps a lot with TF2. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Cobalt Blue - 03-22-2011 i run tf2 on 640x480. l4d2 on 800x600. both work perfectly fine and they look decent. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - ThePortalGuru - 03-22-2011 Also Iji Knytt Stories Runman Super Mario Bros X Amnesia Penumbra Aquaria WORLD OF GOO RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Britt - 03-23-2011 So far I have only tried Minecraft and Portal. Both of those work great, can play minecraft at full graphics settings, and Portal played great with default settings. Just picked portal first because it was something I already know I like, trying some more soon. Thanks guys. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Saltonara - 03-23-2011 In that case, I don't think you'll really have trouble running some higher-quality-graphic games. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - RétroX - 03-23-2011 VVVVVV. It's $5 and it's amazing and could run on my toaster. Unless they're intended to be pixely, of course. Maybe I'm spoiled or something, but honestly, I hate the look of über-scaling. Lower poly looks better to me than lower resolution, but that's more of a personal preference. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Paragonz - 03-26-2011 Super Meat boy, that games a stud RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Key - 03-26-2011 (03-26-2011, 05:07 PM)Paragonz Wrote: Super Meat boy, that games a stud but it's pretty graphically advanced actually. or maybe it just won't run on my geforce 6150 idk i have settings all low. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - KoopaEater - 03-31-2011 Get some Minecraft for sure, Dreamcast collection, some Valve games...Super Meat Boy. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Alex - 03-31-2011 Quake Live. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Dazz - 04-01-2011 ePSXe + Suikoden + Suikoden II RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Britt - 04-01-2011 Minecraft was the first thing I download, definitely getting Dreamcast Collection. Will look into quake, but what is suikoden? RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Dazz - 04-02-2011 Sukoden is an RPG for the PSX that kicked ass. Sequel was better, but you might want to play the first to appreciate the sequel's story. Though it's not a sort of "direct sequel" it has characters cross over and makes references to the previous game. RE: New Computer, Game Suggestions? - Britt - 04-02-2011 Sounds pretty sweet, I will try it out. Thanks. |
