RE: How to rip background gfx from Legend of Mana PS1? - Louise - 06-02-2011 The palettes are on the CD in raw format. E.g for MAN_LAN_0000.png is it called MAN_LAN.DAT. Sometimes they are called .DAT and others .BTP, but they are always very similar in file name to which they belong to. Okay, making a script for assembling the tilesets will be too hard for me through =( RE: How to rip background gfx from Legend of Mana PS1? - Davy Jones - 06-02-2011 What a pity, it seems that I have to rip the game completely without the help of your files =/ There are a few exceptions (SFX, pictures), but I have to get the majority with VRAM (Portraits, Chars, Monsters, Tilesets) due to missing things and palette mistakes. By the way: http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/showthread.php?tid=14955&pid=379486#pid379486 Finished the first background sheet, more will come RE: How to rip background gfx from Legend of Mana PS1? - Dazz - 06-02-2011 I think I know how to do something that will sort the tiles for you, but I'll need something to test with - send something over? It's not really a script but more a selection of programs I have. Hmm... Perhaps not, I think I misunderstood you. What exactly is the order these go in? RE: How to rip background gfx from Legend of Mana PS1? - Davy Jones - 06-02-2011 What do you exactly need? A quicksave-file or a few pictures with the stripes? By the way, it's always like that: http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/7642/manatree.png RE: How to rip background gfx from Legend of Mana PS1? - Dazz - 06-02-2011 I guess because it doesn't include the blank spaces, there's nothing I can really do for you. I can have it extract 16x16 tiles from the grid, and put it back together in a different set up, so say, 128xwhatever instead of its current 128. So I can drop that 16x32 from column 1 onto the next column, and so on. But I can't make it into its fully arranged thing, since it's all a bit random. |
