RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - GrimmJeel - 07-29-2011 If they decide too actually make a new super smash bros for it, then I might get it, but the PsVita offers so much more RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Marth - 07-29-2011 The price drop now made the pricing reasonable. After a full weeks pay I should have enough for one, meaning my Christmas shopping for my brother is done already besides getting him a game or two to go with it. This thread actually just made my day, because now I know I'll be able to get him a gift this soon and affordable. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Garamonde - 07-29-2011 Well the price drop would be good news for me if/when I decided to get one, but it likely won't be this year. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - DioShiba - 07-29-2011 I feel happy that I got mine four months ago. I'll be kept busy for quite some time with the 20 free games. I'm pretty freaking happy that they'll be putting Gba games on the Virtual Console. Now all I want is the ability to shoot 3D videos with the camera and I'll be set. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Alpha Six - 07-29-2011 http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/07/29/nintendo-president-takes-pay-cut-in-wake-of-3ds-39-troubles.aspx Iwata and other Nintendo execs are willingly taking a pay cut for the 3DS's rocky start, rather than lay off members of their staff. And that, my friends, is what we call "responsibility." Give Iwata a medal. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Phantom Killah - 07-29-2011 Mad respect for Iwata. It's sad that more companies don't have that kind of honour. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Koopaul - 07-30-2011 "Nintendo: Not quite as dickish as the other companies" RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - ZaeTelapo! - 08-01-2011 With this price drop im on the edge of just going ahead and buying it lmao RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Rosencrantz - 08-01-2011 (07-29-2011, 05:14 PM)Alpha Six Wrote: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/07/29/nintendo-president-takes-pay-cut-in-wake-of-3ds-39-troubles.aspx Oh man, I really wish that more people had this kind of work ethic. "Yeah, I'm losing a million dollars a year, I'm still making a paycheck that people would die for and that keeps me content enough" Seriously, I respected Nintendo before, but it was never because of their ethics. I just never considered that. But now? Jesus, I love them even more now. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Kosheh - 08-01-2011 i've seriously got the money sitting on my desk for this and it's ready to go the morning of august 12 the only thing is, despite the fact it's affordable and comes in two colors I actually like... I still can't see myself purchasing any games for it. But that's OK because I still have DSiWare <_< (GBA is out of the question, I have 3 incarnations of the GBA and 3 GBCs lying around. Flashcarts for the GBA and GBC. I'm pretty set in terms of games unless they allow seamless multiplayer on them.....then I'll reconsider. Wifi multiplay and I'll friggin sell my old GBA games lol) RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - DioShiba - 08-01-2011 (08-01-2011, 01:59 PM)Kosheh Wrote: (GBA is out of the question, I have 3 incarnations of the GBA and 3 GBCs lying around. If they're ever released on the 3ds anyways. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Shawn - 08-01-2011 very earliest i'd get a 3ds is at devil survivor remakes release i'd rather wait till animal crossing though RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Rosencrantz - 08-01-2011 http://ds.ign.com/articles/118/1184381p1.html Level-5 International gauged interest in which Japan-only game of theirs should be localized http://www.facebook.com/LEVEL5IA/posts/134026613352672 the Layton/Wright crossover won by a landslide (by that I of course mean half of the 13,000 votes cast) and since the game is only getting localized if there's a massive amount of interest in it (which the poll showed it does), then that means I just might finally get that reason to buy a 3DS RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - RandomRedMage - 08-02-2011 Interesting, Though personally I wish more games would get localized. There are a lot of good games out there that would sell nicely, but since the idea of "hardcore gamer" seems to mean, first person shooter fan... we lose out on a LOT of stuff.
