RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Kriven - 01-23-2012 Gens I and II I think have the best designs because of the simplicity. I really hate how complicated and inorganic a lot of the newer ones are. And also, Magmortar kind of took a shit all of Magmar. How could people who first played Red/Blue be adults by the time Ruby/Sapphire came out? There's only a 5 year gap. I said "grown up" not "adult" as in "they are no longer snot-nosed brats, now they're snot-nosed middle schoolers." RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Garamonde - 01-23-2012 All the Gen.'s are awesome... And there are a lot of new, complicated ones. He said a lot of the newer ones. He didn't say all of them. There are complicated ones in earlier gens, but not as much so. RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Maxpphire - 01-23-2012 not exactly. there are over complicated pokemon in all gens and really simple ones in all gens. RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Kriven - 01-23-2012 Not exactly. I could draw all of the Gen I and II Pokemon when I was eight. I can hardly draw any of the new ones at twenty. And thanks Proton. It's true they aren't all complex. I love Pachirisu and Piplup RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Proton - 01-23-2012 (01-23-2012, 09:53 PM)Kat Wrote: not exactly. there are over complicated pokemon in all gens and really simple ones in all gens. I was one of the few not to gain a mindset like that. Video games can be enjoyed at any age, with few exceptions. Gen 1 did have those, actually. RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Azure-Tranquility - 01-24-2012 (01-24-2012, 09:12 AM)Rλy Wrote:You sure? Also, weren't shinies not introduced until Gold/Silver? RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Altrez - 01-24-2012 I like charmander. He should have his own gen. Charmander gen. With nothing but charmanders. and maybe one oddish for leveling. first gen was best gen RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Maxpphire - 01-24-2012 (01-24-2012, 10:01 AM)Azure-Tranquility Wrote:(01-24-2012, 09:12 AM)Rλy Wrote:You sure? Yes EVs were in gen 1 Shinies and gender of pokemon were introduced in gen 2 but both of those things were based on stats in such a way that most females can't be shiny in those games. I also might want to add that I'm very knowledgeable about pokemon when it comes to stats, shinies, gender, nature, and other such things because I breed pokemon more then battle them. Only some pokemon couldn't have shiny females, it depends on the chance of different genders. RE: Gen 3 - The Most Under-rated Pokemon Gen? - Maxpphire - 01-24-2012 That's also true, it was when the pokemon had a 7:1 ratio of being male I think. |
