RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - gammer10 - 03-23-2012 Display Full Path didn't do anything for me. I found out what the problem is, and it doesn't make things better. BRRES was able to load everything except the model (that is the textures), because I could export them, but it doesn't make a usable .psk file, or if it does, Noesis doesn't support it anyways (Its an unsupported file type). I can export and open the .obj version, but the textures aren't applied, and I can't make the .mtl because I can't use the Model menu in BRRES. So I think I've hit a dead end. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - TGE - 03-23-2012 ....You tried downloading the latest version of BRRES viewer? And if you did give a link to the files I can look into it (03-23-2012, 09:30 AM)gammer10 Wrote: I found out what the problem is, and it doesn't make things better. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - gammer10 - 03-23-2012 Sure thing. This archive contains: the .psk, the .obj, the .png textures, the original .brres, and the version of BRRES that I'm using. http://www.mediafire.com/?hjcd9chhd1civb3 RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - TGE - 03-23-2012 Your BRRES Viewer is broken. Redownload it and it should be working (03-23-2012, 09:48 AM)gammer10 Wrote: Sure thing. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - gammer10 - 03-23-2012 Okay, now its exporting properly. Final problem, Noesis doesn't support .psk I used this link: http://oasis.xentax.com/files/noesisv3852.zip I extracted the file and ran the executable, and it doesn't open .psk's. There are two other archives, but I didn't extract them, when I tried it started replacing stuff and copying over itself--which shouldn't happen. I suppose this is the problem. Maybe someone could post their version. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - TGE - 03-23-2012 It works for me and you should navigate in the folders window to open psk's (03-23-2012, 10:25 AM)gammer10 Wrote: Okay, now its exporting properly. Final problem, Noesis doesn't support .psk RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - gammer10 - 03-23-2012 If its through the File>Open file, or through the interface, I get the message "File could not be previewed" and in the place with the recognizable file types, .psk is not one of them; it doesn't show up when "All Known Formats" is selected. I must be missing the script. Additionally, I'll be working on the enemies and NPC's before moving on to the playable characters and armour/weapons because each model (arms, head, legs etc.) are separated into separate files. I'm unsure if I should put all the armour sets into a single model or separate them into "Reyn's Head Armor" or whatever. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - Roxas358 - 03-23-2012 I don't know why your having problems, but here's Noesis from my computer. http://www.mediafire.com/?b47fwhmdywknnlc RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - gammer10 - 03-23-2012 I'm still not able to open .psk, but it did open .md5mesh. Now when exporting the textures disappear (I edited them as described by Mighty Jetters), or mess up depending on what I export them as. .dae doesn't have a texture and .smd is shifted or something. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - TGE - 03-23-2012 ....wut??? I don't know how to help you now RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - Roxas358 - 03-23-2012 Are you using Windows or another OS? If your not using Windows, it could be the reason. RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - Orwell - 03-24-2012 You can eventually import the psk models into 3dsmax with gildor's script and export in the format u want ,if u have max obviously.^^ RE: Xenoblade Chronicles Rips - Garamonde - 03-26-2012 I don't know why you wouldn't be able to open .PSK since Noesis supports it by default... Maybe you could try to update the file format associations (I think that makes certain formats open with Noesis automatically), and make sure .PSK is checked, then try to double-click a PSK file to open it? If that doesn't work, I'm not sure then. |
