sorry, when I first posted the topic I was intending to do everything myself its only when I mocked up the tile sheet that I realised it'd be too much work to tackle alone.
As for the balance thing I've been told that by a few of my friends too, I think I'll angle his body a bit forwards while walking. The wide footing looks almost supportable in the idle pose so thats okay for now I think.
