Well its like basically done, but I'm wondering if I should wait till after SSF2's release to submit it... alot of people are doing that at MG. RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Metroid345 - 09-06-2008 WOW O.O Amazing sheet dude. I especially like the Mudkip Costume lol Amazing work, keep it up. RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Superliger - 09-06-2008 I like it exept for the tail other wise it's very well made. RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Nintendo_6444 - 09-06-2008 I don't like his tail tip. X| Yes I know, I've been told this many times, but every time I messed with it it only made it a lot worse, and disfigured. They're supposed to get thinner as they get closer to the tip. Well I'll try to fix that, It will take quite a while though... RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Gollum - 09-07-2008 meh, I sort of like his horns/ears... they look cool in my oppinion... RE: Mewtwo Spritesheet. - Geo the Fox - 09-07-2008 There's tons and tons of fluidity and stiffness problems. The animation in your avatar is a PERFECT example of both. There's a few cases of copy-pasting body parts which throws off some off the overall quality of the sheet. Walk and Glide are good examples of this around the feet area. Uair (Upward Aerial) looks unrealistic in that he shouldn't be able to easily stop his movement in mid-air. By that I mean, he does a flip then suddenly ends Upright. I suggest reviewing Mewtwo in Melee to see that should actually be done. Shadow Ball is horribly off. Mewtwo doesn't perform kamehameha to toss the orb. He just throws it. Electric Thrust doesn't look like electricity at all. And for the same reason, Nair (Neutral Aerial) looks ugly. Bair (Backward Aerial) has fluidity and stiffness issues. Fair's shadow-trail-thing is inconsistent. Almost all of the tail-swinging blurs are inconsistent. His Final Smash doesn't appear to be in the same style. His Victory Pose has webbed fingers and is also stiff and just kinda ugly. I've been spouting a lot about stiffness, so I'll offer suggestions on that. Make more body parts move while he's performing those actions. Like, limbs such as the arms and legs. Especially the legs. For some instances, you might have to actually alter the body to make it bend or something. Your avatar once again proves to be a great example. There's more I'd like to address but I'm too lazy right now. I know what you mean by most of those, with the whole "to much copy paste", but there is so much controversy at MG on this subject. "Mewtwo is supposed to be stiff, he refrains from moving so much to conserve his energy." "Teh animashunz r teh choppeh" (Which they aren't actually, you'd be surprised) So I did my best to try to smoothen things out while still trying to make him a tranquil badass.... |
