However, I have a few issues with Mario's proportions and shading: I don't see why the shadows are like that on the face, so I removed some of the darker shades. And the reason why the shadows were like that was to add depth to his cheeks; to make them look puffy. Honestly, I never really tried to see how it would look like without that much shadow..and it looks better! And the proportion issues I was going to fix up whenever I went to animating it. RE: Starpower's Sprite Thread-[No Refunds for lack of M&L Waluigi] - alexmach1 - 08-07-2013 the motion blur makes it look as though the fists moved up from the frame before, and the short distance that it covers lessens the overall power. the distance that the fists travel from the first to the second frame is also larger than the motion-blurred distance, making it look as though the fists disappear for a frame or two. the midair body turn is also a tad awkward-looking as well. |
