RE: Ouya - Kami - 07-24-2012 I'm still a little skepticle about this. RE: Ouya - Goemar - 07-31-2012 http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/31/final-fantasy-3-joining-ouya-launch-lineup/ FF3 on it at launch (aka Square support) is making me go more "Hmmmm" in interest. RE: Ouya - Dazz - 07-31-2012 I find it fascinating about the scepticism that the main concern is how they can afford to produce at this price. It's a push on budget, sure, but it isn't entirely out of the ordinary. This isn't a next-gen console. I pretty much have this console in my phone already, and this is without speakers, microphone, GPS, a SCREEN, a brandname, a camera, a light... I never doubted the authenticity of this project, and with Square on board I'm further away from the possibility of doubt. I think this console will be something special; not strong, but it doesn't need to be. This isn't the nD. RE: Ouya - Goemar - 07-31-2012 My main concern was that people weren't going to support it and it'll just be phone games (yes I realise FF3 is already on Android but you know what I mean...) and PSN/XBLA games. Which would be cool, but well - not exciting or needed. However as more and more large publishers seem to be getting on board with the device it's definitely getting more interesting. RE: Ouya - DioShiba - 07-31-2012 The only main concern is if the product doesn't sell through the main market after it launches. I get the fact it has a lot of support, but it's at the point where it's in the "what will happen" stage. RE: Ouya - Borsk - 12-01-2012 I pre-ordered the OUYA around mid-late October after trying to deliberate on whether or not the system would be a good investment. For $99, I thought it was a good gamble. |
