RE: Novelty Games - Tellis - 08-07-2012 Umm, like, half of my Wii game library? Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Castle of Shikigami III, Phantom Brave, Zack & Wiki, Muramasa, KoF Collection: The Orochi Saga. And of my PS2 games I have Rez, Okage, Odin Sphere and Tales of the Abyss... though the only other games I have for it are Persona 3 and 4, and those are pretty niche too (but aren't exactly rare or anything). For the GCN I have Viewtiful Joe 2 (the original wasn't quite as hard to come by was it?), Chibi-Robo, Billy Hatcher, Tales of Symphonia and MGS: The Twin Snakes (all of which are relatively recent purchases, actually). Also, I think I'm pretty lucky to have some of the GBA games I have. Particularly proud of being able to track down all of the Megaman Zero games and both Golden Suns, not to mention finding Drill Dozer for $5 from a Fred Meyer bargain bin. Oh, plus I bought Megaman X for $10 from some old guy who knew nothing about video games who was trying to sell it to a Gamestop (along with a PS1 Razor scooter game and some DVDs). That was a fun day. Edit: Oh right, also Jet Grind Radio, but uh... I still need to replace my Dreamcast's disc motor... I think Grandia II might go for a lot nowadays, too. i... i like games okay. RE: Novelty Games - Sevenstitch - 08-07-2012 I guess the only "novelty" game I still own would have to be Gitaroo Man for the ps2. I know there was a port for the psp, but the original version just plays so much smoother with an actual controller. I still play it from time to time just to hear the music. RE: Novelty Games - Helmo - 08-07-2012 all my games pretty much RE: Novelty Games - PixelPixie - 08-09-2012 Any Shin Megami Tensei game, Shadow Hearts 1 and 2... I like picking up obscure/rare games because they're usually gems. Granted most SMT games and Shadow Hearts are PS2 games so they're old, but the prices on ebay are horrible. I managed to pick up Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 in a games shop last year, both of them together £30. (The shop sells old games) I'm not sure if I have more novelty games... I have plenty of PS2 and Gamecube games but all shops except for one stop selling those. RE: Novelty Games - Cobalt Blue - 08-09-2012 I own a legit copy of Contra for the famicom and a famicom. and a bootleg of contra/bomberman/smb/road rush and other konami games(yep, i still own the very first console i ever had) also, i had a golden Majora Mask AND I TRADED IT FOR HARVEST MOON 64 FUCKING WHY RE: Novelty Games - Pokemondothon - 08-11-2012 I would definitely say Metriod Prime Triology, Okami (Wii), and especially Elektroplankton. ...oh, almost forgot about Yoshi's Island DS - that game is near impossible to find nowadays! |
