RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Garamonde - 10-14-2012 I'm not an idiot. But seriously I've considered Zack & Wiki to be interesting and have seen LKS, it looks really fun but it was only rented and we never saw or played it again. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Koopaul - 10-14-2012 I'm sorry I got really angry. You guys aren't idiots, I just got overly upset is all. If I want to tell you guys about the great games on the Wii I should do it nicely otherwise no one will listen! I've edited my post to be less rage-filled. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 10-15-2012 well i didnt buy a whole lot of games for the wii. also i forgot murasama and that makes me feel bad. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Sevenstitch - 10-15-2012 I'll be honest, I've played every game listed in this thread, and they all are pretty fun games. The wiimote is what destroys the experience for me, and considering that nearly every wii title is either a sequel or iteration of a previous game, I'd rather just play those, what with having actual controllers to use. I guess I'm just an last-last-last gen game player. An snes controller is the only controller that truly feels right in my hands. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Kriven - 10-15-2012 It's not that I don't know about good games on the wii, because I know the Wii isn't a shit-list of a library and that it does have good games. The problem was that almost none of them were memorable, really. If I stacked my Wii library against my GCN library, I'd throw out all but the eight games I mentioned without batting an eyelash to keep the GCN library. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Dazz - 10-15-2012 No particular order. Super Smash Bros. Brawl No More Heroes 2 Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Mario Kart Wii Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon Wario Land: Shake It Rayman: Raving Rabbids Wii Fit Plus Xenoblade Chronicles Phantom Brave: We Meet Again I'm really surprised that my top 10 is relatively different to most of you. Xenoblade, Phantom Brave and Smooth Moves particularly. It had a stupidly limited release in the US as a Gamestop exclusive so not a lot of people bought it or heard of it. Hell, I was going to get it day one from what heard about it when it was released in Europe, but then I think it's release time and the fact that I had to pay Gamestop for a new game put me off of it for a while. And to be perfectly frank, the voice acting kind of bugs me too, no offense to the English dialect. But yeah I still want to track that down and play that... As for Smooth Moves, it was fun but it had no lasting value and it was over in about a day unless you had friends who actually enjoyed playing it (I didn't). And there weren't really many fun extras to unlock, compared to Touched or Twisted. And Phantom Brave I didn't put on mine because I haven't played far enough into it to make a fair assessment. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Sevenstitch - 10-15-2012 I liked phantom brave, but I liked it more when I played it the first time on the ps2, years before the wii port. New content, story line, blah blah blah still the same game RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - StarSock64 - 10-15-2012 I have Xenoblade and I don't really like it to be honest...everything about it feels a bit bland to me and I'm not crazy about the gameplay. And not to mention sidequests sidequests sidequests I don't think I'm too terribly far though, I'm not sure. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Sevenstitch - 10-15-2012 Really doesn't matter how far I got in Xenoblade, which I think was about 8 hours in. If you aren't playing it for the story you might as well stop, because the overall gameplay is repetitive tedium at best. I really wanted to like Xenoblade, but it just didn't deliver. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Garamonde - 10-15-2012 I thought MKW was great... It's not exactly the same as MK:DD but it was a worthy entry in the series IMO. RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Kriven - 10-15-2012 Mario Kart Wii was gross RE: End of Wii Top Ten List - Zero Kirby - 10-15-2012 1. Metroid Prime Trilogy It's probably just the best game ever anyway 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 It's more streamlined and has more ideas and is therefore more the funs 3. Donkey Kong Country Returns What every 2.5D sidescroller should strive to be like. 4. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword After the drowning abyss that was Twilight Princess this was a nice surprise 5. Sonic Colours Or, how to make a Sonic game not the horrible 6. Super Mario Galaxy The first game's still pretty fun I mean sure yeah 7. New Super Mario Bros. Wii Just because the four-player experience was incredible. Seriously. Best ever. 8. Disney Epic Mickey Wasn't everything we were promised, but what we got was still pretty good. 9. GoldenEye 007 The story's a pile of shit but the gameplay's excellent. 10. Super Smash Bros. Brawl I dunno I guess this game was okay it wouldn't be fair to have Metroid Prime 3 on here twice I s'pose |
