RE: CNH`s Submissions - Previous - 11-23-2012 Looks fine to me :> "full version", "layer A", "layer B" makes things easy to use as you have the seperate parts, but also see how they go together. RE: CNH`s Submissions - canasniimehugh - 11-23-2012 Ah, alright. I'll use this format from now on. I shall come back with more Energy breaker rips! *disappears* RE: CNH`s Submissions - Davy Jones - 11-23-2012 Oh my god, it's finally in English! Nice one, I've never passed the fortune teller =D Anyway, a few crits: - 3rd area: Leftover above the first map - 3rd area: The first map has white in the trees - Is the fountain running like this? 1. 2. 3. 4. I'm never sure when I see the same amount of frames in two rows. RE: CNH`s Submissions - canasniimehugh - 11-23-2012 This game is greaaatttt. But the elemental system needs a lot of explanation. I beat the game without understanding it :/ 1. Fixed 2. Fixed 3. crappy labeling gogogo EDIT: Davy, how should I properly rip the map? RE: CNH`s Submissions - Davy Jones - 11-24-2012 I think your way is already the best one: One arranged map with his layers. Maybe I would check PalViewer and MemViewer from vSNES for the cut off tree tiles. Btw, do you erase the colours by hand or by palette? RE: CNH`s Submissions - canasniimehugh - 11-24-2012 By hand. Know any other way? This is getting kinda tedious. RE: CNH`s Submissions - Dazz - 11-25-2012 Uhh... What game is it? Did you fancy waiting for me to upload for some reason? Which is an SNES game I'm pretty sure. RE: CNH`s Submissions - canasniimehugh - 11-25-2012 Sorry, it`s a SNES game. I wanted people to see if the format that I ripped it in was OK. It`s good for upload now. Sorry. RE: CNH`s Submissions - Ton - 11-25-2012 I got it, Dazz. Don't worry about it. This is getting kinda tedious. As far as I know, Energy Breaker has a gradient as background. So you just need to erase the colours per palette. But first make sure that reducing the colour depth to 8-Bit doesn't harm the quality of the sheet (I would compare with a safe copy). When you're sure about it, open the palette of the sheet. Then you're looking for the gradient colours (I use the pipette) and erase them with a neutral colour of your choice. The whole thing takes less than 4 minutes. |
