RE: tSR Compo Vol. 8: Shadowboxing VOTING - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 11-11-2012 so push your creativity to its limits dude there's really no other way to become an artist RE: tSR Compo Vol. 8: Shadowboxing VOTING - Keiang - 11-11-2012 I think this argument is kinda moot now, since the compo is already over. Should we have been more creative? Yes, and I know I will endeavor to do so in the future. Such as in the next compo, which hasn't shown up yet. Creativity has no limits and as long as you can express it, you are an artist. You can only grow to become a better artist and that is not just a single road to take, like I feel you are trying to suggest. People grow in different ways, some people try things other than other as shown in the diversity of entries here. Criticism is good, but you are not the one to say who is an artist and who is not. RE: tSR Compo Vol. 8: Shadowboxing VOTING - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 11-11-2012 i wasn't trying to say he wasn't an artist, i was trying to say maybe there's merit in more experimentation instead of taking the easy way out and saying "well i'm just not that GOOD yet, GOSH." RE: tSR Compo Vol. 8: Shadowboxing VOTING - Cobalt Blue - 11-12-2012 sprite infinite amounts of yoshis are the way to sucess. |
