RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Gors - 11-30-2012 RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 11-30-2012 hmm... Interesting analysis. You're definitely right in many aspects. Let's see if I can fix her up a bit. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 11-30-2012 took the lazy path and decided to resize the head. WIP showing how big the head will presumably look, along with the shading on the body thus far I think it looks better, but I don't really intend on making it any smaller - it just looks kind of weird. I guess I'd just rather it keep its cartooniness. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Hoeloe - 11-30-2012 She's still got a really huge cheek. Try analysing what Gors posted a bit closer. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 11-30-2012 getting warmer? RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Vipershark - 11-30-2012 Now she's got a really big chin. Bring that entire corner in. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 11-30-2012 BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Gaia - 12-01-2012 Known Issues: - The orange and brown blend in with each other, I might need to find a new color to compliment orange other than green.. - I need to re-draw the whole thing due to the character is supposed to be a very spoiled, greedy 10 year old who owns the entire mining industry with an affinity for all things orange. - The pallete now starts to clash as the way how each section is shaded. Otherwise, the entry is not yet complete. The reason I've been quiet lately as I was trying to figure out how to get fur to work in pixel form; neorice's tutorial on hair was applied here, on the fur that's brown.. albiet not as I expected. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 12-01-2012 Interesting so far... but as pointed out earlier, he leans forward with his pelvis a little too much. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Gaia - 12-01-2012 Ah, the air-hump, I forgot about that one detail while focusing too much in the upper torso. Oh well, will be corrected once sent to the youth machine anyway. Just a verbal warning this time~ RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Ecking Crew - 12-02-2012 (12-01-2012, 09:56 AM)Mighty Jetaku Wrote: Please put more thought into your posts and refrain from posting just to say "lol" or "XD" in the future, since that doesn't add anything to the topic and counts as spam. K, I'll try to remember that. At any rate, would it be necessary to apply any more shading on this than there already is? I'm not sure, still debating it. RE: TSR COMPO 10: Scrooge is my Homeboy - Sevenstitch - 12-02-2012 That is really all up to you, it's your entry. By the way, I'd like to remind everyone that your entry must be animated (at least four frames) to be accepted. I'm not sure if interest in these compos have just dwindled, or if you are all hard at work, but it's a little disappointing only seeing 2 wips with only 2 days left. At this rate, there may not even be any full entries by the end. If everyone is strapped for time, I'd gladly extend the end date. Is this something that I should do? |
