I love using TVTropes as a resource for writing because it usually either gives me new ideas or helps me refine the ideas I already had. Unbeatable in that regard.

TVTropes is awesome for a good laugh, some interesting knowledge or just to essentially bounce ideas off of, or rather to have ideas bounced off of you. Thinking in Tropes can really help articulate my thoughts.
