Give or take, this version has quite a bit of a design history, and some of you MAY remember from the whole "pixeltendo card game" from way back, coming from yet ANOTHER design mess. He's one of my very first intentional fancharacters, and he didin't have much of a torso back then. The current ref you see today was the result of a spinoff design as he couldn't be carried over to the advance style and looked hideous (aka: emerl edit with gundam cues which include eyes and plume, which look horrendous if you ask me.

The "emerl edit" wasn't intentional but was meant to look NOTHING like said character, nor finhead, but instead came out as an accident trying to shift away from the gundam look in the pixeltendo days. In other words I had this issue for quite a-while.

That's more-or-less 3 head proportion in the hayday of chibi, which for whatever reason someone else thought they could swell up the head further (I have yet to see a gag in which the modern chibi gets knocked down and struggling to get up 'cuz of it's huge head by the older, more experinced chibi of yesteryear).
