Awesome, I'll do that. Thanks. Any C+C on the sand? that's the one that's giving me the most trouble right now. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "The top of the grass should also be the same colour as the side of the grass." RE: Project Plix - Mabelma - 01-31-2013 Pretty much done with the grass tiles. and I started working on some wooden tiles also here's a wood environment test RE: Project Plix - Hoeloe - 02-01-2013 Those are very straining on the eye due to the insanely high contrast, and they also don't look much like wood. RE: Project Plix - Mabelma - 02-01-2013 I understand, I'll change the palette, no problem. Any advice on making it look more like wood? RE: Project Plix - Hoeloe - 02-02-2013 Well, you've got the right idea in having a sort of "grain" pattern, but at the moment it's just dark or light lines drawn on the surface. I suggest looking at some wood patterns and seeing how the colours appear on it, and trying to emulate that. RE: Project Plix - JazzySpazGlobal - 02-04-2013 This seems really interesting. Good luck with this. |
