Actually, it's quite the opposite on it's home version, the Mac.

This is why Keyboard and Mouse games should stay keyboard and mouse, UNLESS they're perfectly optimized for a d-pad/analog stick.

Still looks rather fidgety to me. Notice, amongst other things, how the guy fails to hit enemies in front of him multiple times. The game looks like it'd be incredibly easy, too, regardless of any flawed controls.

Hmmm... I'd say I prefer the keyboard for things like shooters, but for platform games like Jak and Daxter, I'd say the gamepad is the way to go. There are levels of timing and dexterity required in platform games that are hard to get with a keyboard... for example, Prince of Persia. some of the maneuvers you have to make to get around require such precision, the best way to do it is with a simple control device like a gamepad.
