RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - Jermungandr - 04-20-2014 I strongly agree with everyone in Shadow of the Colossus and Goht from Majora's Mask. And I'd also like to add ... - Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure. I know it sounds like an odd choice but I always thought it was a rush to defeat an enemy by simply charging at it at full speed while avoiding obstacles. - There are tons of enemies from the first two Paper Mario games, both regular enemies and bosses, that are just fun to fight. Ones that come immediately to mind for me are Junior Koopa, Shy Guy General, The Shadow Sirens, Doopliss, Hooktail, and of course we can't forget, Rawk Hawk. - Pretty much all the bosses in Kirby's Epic Yarn are fun to play, but I think the two that stand out the most for me are Squashini and Yin Yarn. - I don't know how many would agree with me on this one because it depends a lot on your playstyle, but I always thought the Big Sisters from Bioshock 2 were a blast to fight. - Ganondorf from Wind Waker has definitely got to be on this list. He and Goht have got to be the most fun boss battles in the entire Zelda franchise for me. Plus he's just straight up the best Ganon appearance period. That's everything off the top of my head at the moment. RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - AuraLancer - 04-20-2014 Oh dang, I was going to leave out turn based rpg bosses 'cause they're usually just kinda... there. Not really fun, just something stronger to press the confirm button on. Then you went and reminded me about Rawk Hawk RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - FinalSmash - 04-20-2014 Bowser from Super Mario Galaxy, King Kaliente, and the Dummies from Madden 07-Madden 12. Speaking of the Mario RPGs, I'd like to nominate a couple from the Mario & Luigi games: Wisdurm, Giant Peach's Castle and Bowser X from Bowser's Inside Story; and Big Massif, the Elite Trio, and the secret boss from Dream Team. The platformer games (mostly the 3D ones) also had their fair share of crazy-fun boss fights. And then there's... pretty much every boss from the first Yoshi's Island, namely the Potted Ghost and Raphael the Raven. RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - E-Man - 04-21-2014 If you are gong to bring up Mario RPGs, Mr. Yoshbert, why not give Legend of the Seven Stars a little love, too? Personally, a boss I had a soft spot for is Bundt. You're fighting a mutant wedding cake, while getting attacked by two angry chefs, so what's not to like? Also, the way Bundt is defeated is really hilarious! Also, who can forget about this guy? http://www.mariowiki.com/Mukumuku RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - Gors - 04-21-2014 Mischief Makers' boss battles. RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - water dog - 04-22-2014 I have a blast with the Ruin Sentinels in Dark Souls 2. Any time I'm in the area, I'll throw down my summon sign just for shits n' giggles. I've gotten really good at the fight though its paraded as one of the harder ones in the game. Which isn't saying much. Dark Souls 2 is unfortunately easier than Dark Souls and I'm assuming Demon's Souls. RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - Kosheh - 04-23-2014 i'm not really sure why this boss battle is still fun @ 4:13 there's just something about shoulder-bashing foot soldiers and then tossing them at the shredder that's just extremely satisfying like, imagine if you could throw your fellow co-workers at your asshole boss in the movie theater you worked in as a teenager every other boss fight ever is really tedious and boring except the bosses that you have to climb to fight (like that boss in shadow of the colossus, or megaleg from super mario galaxy, those are fun too but aren't as satisfying as the technodrome. they just...aren't) RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - Maxpphire - 04-24-2014 Plan 8 [H] from IIDX 20 Tricoro "Red Phase" It being a scratch heavy song aside, it is just really fun to play. RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - SchAlternate - 04-29-2014 Weldar from Banjo Tooie was a pretty sweet fight. Difficult, and often on the insane side once the floor becomes electrified, but really fun. And can't forget that awesome boss theme. Wasn't there a boss you fight while riding a cat which is also riding a missile at times? If I'm remembering that correctly then I agree. I personally enjoyed most of the bosses from Skyward Sword. I found the overall game to be okay at best but the bosses were a lot of fun (except for the final boss because there were a few things I found ot be a bit unfair). RE: Enemies and bosses you had a blast with! - Gors - 04-29-2014 Yes, you also could fiht against a tank by grabbing its cannon and shaking it like a hammer on the ground |
