Pixel is still helping with things, but the port isn't created by him.
Also I don't see why anyone is complaining. If you want to get it for WiiWare, then get it. Don't like the upgrades? Turn them off.
Don't want the WiiWare one? Get the PC one.
It's not that terrible. =\
