I don't look forward to that, otherwise I do look forward for everything else.
I liked how not cluttered the screen was, and how I had the advantage to look down at a map on my gamepad while everyone else suffered lol

Yes it was me. I've been legitimately sad about this game. You see, I'm a really huge Mario Kart fan and had fun with every title, except 8. I was probably looking forward to it more than anyone else when it was announced and had the same videos up on repeat for weeks... Months... A year. I finally got my hands on it and was quickly disappointed, when I actually got to play it felt really slow and that bogged down on like everything for me. I'm the kind of guy who has more fun when there's active participation in the actual course layouts, I don't get as much enjoyment out of items as I do just having fun driving. The combination of further simplified controls adapted from Mario Kart 7 on wider roads on the big screen made the slower pace stand out a ton. I paid $60 for it and I didn't want to just drop the game, but I just couldn't get any sort of hype for it at all no matter how hard I tried to force myself to. I haven't even unlocked all the cups yet because I lost interest for a reason I would NEVER have thought would be addressed like THIS.
ALL MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT MK8 ARE LITERALLY FIXED BY 200CC. Nintendo must've put a chip somewhere in my house, or more people than me noticed the pacing. Either way I'm extremely greatful and stoked.
