I'm working hard to make it as fun as possible. A bit more animated. I hit a stop in programming, the game won't even start now. I want it to be playable by the end of next month, with a sort of demo. It'll be difficult to create a demo, because the game will be open world based on exploration, (Think the first LoZ, where you have no directions whatsoever.) I can't imagine creating a demo for that. RE: Games are hard. (Updated 7/17) - nicktheslayer - 07-19-2014 Check out these new tiles. Awww yeah. Ignore the HUD though, it's being completely redone, minus the wheel on the far left. RE: Games are hard. (Updated 7/19) - Paladin - 07-19-2014 The selout on the hands can be a bit hard to see on the green background. I suggest that you either use a darker colour or remove the selout completely. There's also banding on the brick slants. RE: Games are hard. (Updated 7/19) - nicktheslayer - 07-19-2014 Banding as in pillow shading? I was hoping to imply that the corners were worn, not necessarily that they were shaded. I'll try to find a darker shade in the GBC pallet to use for the selout. RE: Games are hard. (Updated 7/19) - nicktheslayer - 03-01-2015 This hasn't died. I still need a lot of help, if I'm going to ask for help, should I make a Game Development thread? The only help I need are with sprites, so I'm not sure where that leaves me. I also have a fresh, awesome demo, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate to post here, either. |
