RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Gors - 08-02-2014 So far, with all the tracks I gathered, japanese composers are apparently fond of Tchaikovsky and Bach. Thanks, everyone for the efforts! As for Koh... I dont remember any song that is like that, but it reminds me of the Sabre Dance in composition (a gallop tune). RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Gors - 08-02-2014 I found another one, Passepied by Claude Debussy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_sBwJucegU and Chromatische Phantasie by Johann Sebastian Bach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsYcI1ikUi4 RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Brutus - 08-03-2014 Edvard Grieg - Trolltog RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Darky's Reincarnation - 08-03-2014 wait no one posted murasame's version of ode to joy yet? well lets get that out of the way there should also be a thread of video game music that sounds a lot like real published music RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Gors - 08-03-2014 Ah yes! That sounds interesting too, but I didn't want to merge them all into a single thread for the sake of management. Do you prefer creating another thread for it, or should I accept them here too? RE: Old Games and Classical Music - Jermungandr - 08-20-2014 Dark Castle for Genesis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpJrvAhTiOw Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho9rZjlsyYY A small clip of the song also plays at the beginning of the original Macintosh version. |
