avast doesn't detect anything until it's too late

HI WE'RE HERE TO FUCK SHIT UP
COME ON IN I WILL TELL THE OWNER EVENTUALLY, BUT LET'S PARTY FIRST WOOOOO
HELL YEAH 5 DAY INFECT FEST WOOOOOO
5 days later, when you've started to notice shit happen

Oh yeah your computer is fucked up.

Avast also tends to detect keygens, every exe you download ever, the system32 folder, and certain ads as trojans

Thats why you use a good name like norton or mcafee Tongue.

RE: Trojan Horse on TSR - Ultimecia - 10-31-2008

That's relative. For example I started to use Avast because Norton and Mcafee started to slow down my machine, I don't know about him.
In some anti-virus you can register 'exceptions to the rule'. My Avast used to go crazy every time I installed IRC. So I had to register an exception ("don't mess with the mirc.exe file"), but now it started to be a bitch and harder to configure, so I switched to AVG. So far, so good.
