Well then, claredeth, expand from your boundaries, you shouldnt limit yourself from what you usually do. You shouldnt just stay the same style forever. Move on, learn different techniques.

Its the only way you will expand, honestly. and if for example, you ever got a paid job, the employer would prefer you to work to their boundaries, not your own.

Good point, but I do pixelling as a hobby, I don't look at it as a job. I never have.

Still, I don't like the "blotches for shading" gimmick.

I know it can be appealing and everything, but really.

Try something else.

Fuzzy, neither, but at the age of 14 you're obviously not in the need for money. Most working pixel artists who do jobs are older, such as BaB and Fool.

Practicing could get you in their position one day. You've obviously got 'it', you just need to apply 'it' in different ways.

The ones that are are WIPs that I never finished.
