Oh lord, I should have guessed, I mean, judging by the way they've been advertising the Wii as a party gaming system Rolleyes If I recall correctly, there was a headset option in the WiiSpeak menu in Animal Crossing.

And speaking of Animal Crossing (not to get off topic), aren't the players' houses a little too blended in with the dark grass on the map?

bawww you have to be different even if it's a shit idea!!!

Nintendos should stop plugging into TVs too, reminds me too much of Xbox.

IIRC, the reason why they rejected a headset is because they want multiple people in the room to be able to communicate at once (which can be applied to games outside of AC). A headset would be too close rage. I don't particularly want a shitty-quality earpiece, either.
I agree. The fact that Wii Speak doesn't require having an earpiece is great, as it can get annoying fast... =/ My PC mic has an earphone, but i never use it(I do put my ear close to it, but not inside.)

Wii Speak's ability to detect all noises and voices in the room is great. Definitel an improvement over DS. And here i thought it WAS going to be a port of the DS qualit mic, but on the TV where you'd have to stand. That video on the nintendo channel changed my opinion entirely.
