RE: My first sprite rip... well, edit. - Goemar - 03-25-2017 You can use Paint to easily recolour whole sheets at once. Just set the secondary colour as the one you want to replace (make sure you have transparent selection on) then simply cut the sprites, fill in the gap with the colour you want and paste them back in. Though in all honesty, with how few sprites that game has capturing has got to be easier. I mean I got all the sprites from Bucky O'Hare by capturing and that didn't take very long (thing I did the whole game over 3 days). Just capture the whole game, and then cut out all the sprites you want and slap them into a sheet. RE: My first sprite rip... well, edit. - Sonicfan32 - 03-26-2017 I just finished the Penta in-game sheet. (I made the background into a blue-green color.) It'll be uploaded once I get the other things, like the title, the NPCs, the enemies, etc. (the cutscenes are a disaster when ripping BG parts.) Now, Goemar, am I forbidden to ever use your sheets as bases again, because now I'm gonna rip em' without if you say no. I wouldn't mind. RE: My first sprite rip... well, edit. - Sonicfan32 - 03-27-2017 FINALLY it's over! You know, I decided to release the Penta sheet earlier than expected. So now, a new update is made. (Look at the first post.) Not to mention I just published. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-06-2017 Here's another thing I managed to rip. Mappy for MSX. Now, I tried ripping Penguin Adventure sprites (for ripping the hero penguin) in YY-CHR, but here's the problem. Everything looks like a mess. I can't even tell what goes to what, who's who, or what goes where. It's like a collage of sprites mashed together. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Firejoker54 - 04-06-2017 DUDE. What's with all that damn empty space? Not even a tenth of the sheet is the actual sprites. You don't need all that space! you should reduce it, jesus. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Davy Jones - 04-07-2017 How about this? RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-07-2017 That's a good layout. I got to stop using that box thing anyway. (One day.) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-07-2017 Got more things. It's another "Namcot" port, featuring the naughty little shit from Youkai Douchuuki. (Along with that spirit thing.) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-09-2017 Got another thing. It's a GameBoy thing ripped using VBA's tile viewer. It was very easy to do. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Davy Jones - 04-09-2017 You should use another background colour, the white on the sheet is the same as in the sprites. Sheets looking good, btw =) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-09-2017 (04-09-2017, 06:57 AM)Davy Jones Wrote: You should use another background colour, the white on the sheet is the same as in the sprites. I'll do that In a sec. (EDIT: Done.) RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-09-2017 Yet another game rip. It's Buster Bunny from TTA2. RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Sonicfan32 - 04-10-2017 I'm planning on ripping sprites from Youkai Douchuuki for PC Engine. I tried ripping the main character using Tile Molester, but the only things I could get are stage tiles, fonts, logos, and that stripping person from one of the scenes in the game. I think I found the graphics for him, but the problem is that they're jumbled and don't look good. Is there any way to fix this? RE: Sonicfan32's sprite rippings. - Davy Jones - 04-10-2017 Can you post a screenshot of these jumbled tiles? |
