RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 05-16-2019 EDIT And here were some intro screens I was working on. Probably won't finish these, at least not for a while. I'm just burnt out. Hope everyone enjoyed. EDIT Here is the text from the beginning of the 1st movie: "People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens, that a terrible sadness is carried within and a soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, a crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right..." ^ Was thinking of putting that either under the city or on a blank screen, then showing the images of Brandon Lee as the lights flicker. Then the title screen comes up. RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - Ton - 05-21-2019 These are really impressive. Nice work. RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 05-25-2019 Re-colored the sprite sheet using the colors that the NES uses. I will do the same to Ghostrider soon: RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 05-28-2019 Finished Ghost Rider. Just re-colored him using the NES colors. For those who don't know what I mean, was going by this: http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Games/Hacking/Wiki/index.php/NES_Palette Also thank you to everyone for the views. I'm finally done with this. If someone wants to make a hack of it or their own game, maybe I will do an intro screen and a couple more ending screens for The Crow. RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 05-29-2019 Well, I figured I would make these since they were half done. Thought they would be cool for an introduction: What do you think, could you see Eric Draven running around, with maybe a few crows in the background, to this song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHUiON7Y4jQ RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 05-29-2019 And here's a little bonus: Batman and Robin RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 06-02-2019 I didn't know someone made an 8 bit edit of The Crow theme song. Lol, perfect song for this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlFCCOHs5Z0 RE: Nintendo (NES) style Ghostrider and Eric Draven / The Crow Sprite Sheets - sil3nt j - 02-01-2020 One more update. This could be finished soon. I've been working with a programmer to get this going and can post a video if someone wants it. Had to change Fun Boy to move like Killer Moth since it is just going to be a graphics edit. I gave him a jet pack, which he didn't have in the movie, but was the only thing I could think of. I guess it would suit his personality. Maybe he got high and built it himself and wanted to go for a flight? Lol. Also, added some cinema scenes and made some touch ups to the original ending I had. Touched up Top Dollar's sprites, reduced Tin Tin's to less colors, and re-made Skank and Grange as just regular enemies instead of bosses. Let me know what you think or if you can think of anything that should be added? Can't wait for it to be finished. (edit) Forgot to mention the fire crows on the bottom left. Decided to replace the multiple knives with those since I thought it would flow smoother. A bird could sit in mid air, in one spot for a second, but knives couldn't. I couldn't think of anything to replace the Batarangs with though besides the knives, so those might just have to be the kind of knives that come back to you when you throw them Maybe Eric Draven's crow powers allowed him to do that :p |
