...*Pant* ...Okay...*Wheeze* ...New spritesheet ahoy. Just give me a sec while I find the rip classification... And catch some breath, while we're at it...

R.S.U. Plus-Bullet Tower - Metal Slug 4
... *Slaps forehead*Man, I come up with the wierdest names. Seriously though, anybody who knows this thing's official name, gimme a call.
Anyway, some notes about the sheet:

1. All five sectors have five degrees of damage before the "Wrecked..." frame, except Sector 3 which appearently has four. Believe me, I did numerous double-checks.
2. Yes, I do know the big gun(Oi...) in the core sector(Sector 1) has more firing angles, but the only way to get them is by Tile Viewer. In-game they're cut off by the edge of the screen.
3. Anything else I've missed, give a shout. I'll see what I can do about it.

As always, check the first post for the sheet. Now if you'll excuse me... *Goes off with his brain sizzling and a sign saying "I need a medic, STAT!!!"*

Ace! That's an awesome sheet Big Grin

Those rips are kick-ass. BUT- you should note that the "Masknell" is the Ptole version of the chopper Wink

RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 07-13-2008

...Well, I was going to open with a "BUMP!!" from a megaphone in here, but looks like someone beat me to it... wait, I can still do it? 'Kay... BUUUUMP!!!! And about time.
Yeah, I've been inactive for way too long, personally... it's time to get back. But hey, if you've got a new game that you wanted so much, I guess it can be forgiven...

...You know what, let's just go to the sheet classification and call it a day.

Elite Ptolemaic Soldier - Metal Slug 5
Had this in the works for quite a while... it should be around all frames and SFX, if I recall...
You'll notice in the credit tag that it says "Ripped/Edited by" as opposed to the usual "Ripped by". Felt it might've been necessary, as a good part of this had to be edited(But just slightly, mind you). Also included is... that thing from Mission 3... at the part where you can gain control of a SVW/001(Slug Gunner).

As always, check the first post for the sheet.
BTW, the real reasons for this inactivity were the following. Back when I just had BRAWL(And back when it just came out in Europe), I thought I'd take a couple days of pause to play that game. However, those couple days soon became more, as my computer's RAM burned down to a sizzling crisp, and we had to change it. Now everything's fine, for the record... Sort of.

Nice one!

By the way, any plans on Metal Slug 7?
If you need help with it, I'll be willing to share the very basic information on have on the DS's file structure for it and give you a few things to help you out.

Metal Slug 7? You mean it's out already? *has just crawled out from under a rock* Darn. Looks like I'm going to have to update Tarma's sheet sometime soon. Good thing the sprites are stored in a similar manner to the Neo-Geo games. Cute

Yup, today is the official release date of the game, as I heard. Guess this means I'll have to update my Eri sheet as well, should there be any new poses for her in the game.

And Dazz, perhaps I may have some plans... and I may need some help, too. But first, we need to check the territory... if you know what I mean...

Yeah, there are some new sprites, mainly for the new vehicles (Slug Truck and Slug Gigant), but there are some more new sprites in the main character files.

Oh, and Ralf and Clark are FINALLY rippable now, thanks to MS7!

I can't see the new sheet. Sick

...Odd. I can see it fine here. Hold on...
*Goes around trying to fix it*

EDIT: Re-uploaded. Not sure if it'll do, but let's try it anyway.

RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Ton - 07-18-2008

Yay, now I can. It's great!

Hell, how do you see sprites? When I open the file I only see graphic junk....

RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 07-18-2008

Tile ripping can be a powerful tool for sprite ripping, but can also be very confusing at times. My new sheet can be a good example of that. Cue the theme "Tackling the Beast"!

Kraid - Metroid: ZERO Mission
Before any of you say anything, I do know there's already a Kraid sheet on the site, but... er... well, let's just say this: Somebody had to do it right(No offense).
Anyway, this is a full rip of Kraid from M:ZM, with all tiles and "SFX". The reasons I've broken it into tiles are the following:

1. While Kraid's sprites do have pre-assembled animations, they're almost all broken into tiles(Like most bosses in this game and in Metroid Fusion). Displaying just the tiles in these cases will save a lot of time and hard-drive space, not to mention an aneurism. Which brings me to reason °2.
2. If I were to rip the sprites as in-game, the sheet would've been WAAAAY too big both in size and bytes. I mean, have you seen how blitzin' big is he?!?

As always, check the first post for the sheet.
USELESS(Not really) TRIVIA: According to the Super Metroid OSV, "Tackling the Beast" is the name of the BGM that plays when you fight Kraid in Super Metroid and Metroid: ZERO Mission.

LAST-MINUTE EDIT: Forgot to say this... I'm not really sure if we need a new icon for the sheet(Considering there's one already...). However, if there IS need for a new icon, just give a shout.
