Also Ninja Blade and L4D are awesome. I'd mention Tales of Vesperia but it looks cooler on the PS3. RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - SKELTON S. SKELETON - 04-15-2009 Breakdown is really the only good Xbox game I've ever played, but I don't own an XboX RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Emma - 04-15-2009 Fable II is . You know why? Stephen motherfucking Fry. As a pansexual pirate. Fuck yeah. I need to replay Halo 3 for the achievements. I'm stuck on Portal. And I don't play the rest of the Orange Box, I just watch my dad play it. I also mostly watched my dad play Bioshock. I would be playing Ninety-Nine Nights, but it fucked up. Last Remnant is pretty cool, too. Also, Jonny Yong Bosch. RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Sol - 04-15-2009 If we're supposed to go into detail about why you should have these games then okay (04-14-2009, 10:31 PM)Sol Wrote: The Orange Box The Orange Box is five games in one, it's an incredible deal, plus every game on it is just fantastic, Half-Life 2 has got to be my favorite FPS alongside Bioshock. Portal is charming and TF2 is great as well, even though the PC version is definitely superior in terms of content and probably community, the 360 version is still fun to play with friends if you don't have a PC that can handle TF2 (like me) Rez HD is another fantastic game, it's on the edge of being a work of art. It's an on-rails shooter that takes place inside a computer network. The gameplay and music of the game almost seem to fuse together, and it's just a really relaxing and addictive experience. N+ is a neat little puzzle-platformer game, you play as a ninja who lives off of gold bars. All you have to do to beat a level is open a door and enter it, but the levels get really complicated and tricky. There are multiplayer levels as well. Soul Calibur IV is 3D fighting goodness, if you're a fan of the series a lot of the new characters are really cool to play as, and if you're a Star Wars fan this entry in the series has Yoda (for the 360) Darth Vader (for the PS3) and Starkiller from The Force Unleashed as guest characters, although honestly they're way overpowered and I don't really enjoy them as characters myself. If you have a lot of friends that like playing with you the game is definitely worth getting. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is basically the game that defined the way Castlevania games are now, you've got your open ended exploration, your different items like weapons and armor, your awesome soundtrack.. A couple of qualms are the incredibly vague tasks you must complete to get the true ending (which is apparently typical of a lot of action adventure games) and the reverse castle, basically the second half of the game (if you did all the vague stuff first, otherwise your game ends at the true halfway point and you get a shitty ending) is Dracula's castle literally just flipped upside down, with different enemies. It's an incredibly lazy way to make a game longer and might make you want to stop playing but work through it and you'll find that you're still probably having fun. The comp disc has Pac-Man champ edition, Uno, Feeding Frenzy, some sort of firework rhythm game and Luxor 2. Pac-Man Championship edition actually is addicting enough to make me want to play it again and again. Uno can be fun, but not that addicting towards mę. the rhythm game isn't really that great, and to be honest I don't even play it a lot. The other two games are just PC games ported to the Xbox so if you have it on your PC don't bother playing them. The first game I bought was Street Fighter 4, that game was fun as hell and there was quite much to do. The only thing I didn't like about it was that Seth was a major pain in the ass to beat, only character I recall beating him on normal difficulty was Ryu and maybe Akuma, but the other characters I had to beat him on easy mode. Gears of war two is in fact, probably one of the most best game I ever played, fun and entertaining single player, flawless online, much for replay and the best thing is that the locust guys are shit hard on Insane mode. Bosses don't provide much of a challenge on Insane mode, but the entertainment still leaves me at awe. GTA 4, is in fact one of the most best games I played, a lot has improved compared with GTA 3. A more realistic system on this in fact makes much more of a challenge, there is actually good music on the radio for what they added, Mini games, going into bars and strip clubs, and the storyline is deep. Getting the add-on pack even gives a bit more of game play and fun with exclusive vehicles and weapons that can only be used on the Expansion. For arcade downloads, I recommend getting Galaga Legions, the game provides much more of a challenge on gameplay compared with classic versions where you move all directions launching satellites while shooting down and endlessly insane batch of enemies, graphics are solid and you can unlock skins of previous galagas and yes, even one for Galixian. There are better, but its shit fun multiplayer. RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Ravecat - 04-19-2009 Oblivion is a million times better on PC. Fable II is fun for 3 days. But I've been playing Halo3 a lot lately. And Rainbow Six Vegas 2, customizing your character and making him look like Snake is fun (Y) RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Emma - 04-19-2009 Oblivion made me want to break things. Ugh. The gameplay isn't bad, but the world is way too big. Also, wtf is it with there being like 20,000,000 obilivion gates per square inch? I traded it in. RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Raytheon - 04-19-2009 I play fable 2 coop and we never do the storyline we just do the crucible lots and try to do the stupidest things. when the next expansion comes out w/ the colloseum well probably do that. i play rainbow six vegas 2 a fair bit. i play cod4 alot. RE: ITT WE STOP TALKING ABOUT NINTENDO GAMES AND INSTEAD TALK ABOUT GOOD XBOX GAMES - Dazz - 04-20-2009 I recently go the Sega Megadrive (Genesis) Collection disk. Was probably the best thing I have on the xbox. Saints Row II is most likely the best game on the console though, at least that I have played, as well as Fable II. I've got so many games for the console that I've grown incredibly bored of that I find it hard to get the umph to get new ones. |
