RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - JarJar - 04-23-2009 (04-22-2009, 11:06 PM)The Question Wrote: MVC2 is also a pretty ugly game. I mean, it wasn't that bad in MVC because most of the sprites still looked good together, but characters like Morrigan and Captain Commando (who had actually been resized) looked terrible compared to anyone new in the roster or the crisper sprites like Wolverine or Cable. Morrigan's sprite has been overhauled and edited through games shes been in, she really didn't get a "change" until tatsunoko vs capcom, which is 3D..................... ZOMG YOU CNA PLAY AS CLOUD11!!11 *buys* ---------------- RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Alpha Six - 04-23-2009 Actually, Ehrgeiz caught my attention because I heard it was a joint effort between Namco and Squaresoft. Which explained the many Tekken-esque characters. RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Dazz - 04-23-2009 Ehrgeiz never caught my attention until a couple years ago. It caught it for about 5 minutes before I couldn't control it for shit and the framerate made me want to cry. RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Alpha Six - 04-23-2009 Were you playing on an emulator or something? Ehrgeiz has a pretty solid framerate from what I remember. RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Cobalt Blue - 04-23-2009 Quote:Ehrgeiz was developed by DreamFactory, who previously developed the Tobal series of fighting games for Square. The game was directed and designed by Virtua Fighter and Tekken designer Seiichi Ishii.that explains a lot of things. there were far better things out there. besides, there were far better things out there made by square(Einhänder included). RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Kosheh - 04-25-2009 I wonder how they can balance one of the most broken fighters ever. Otherwise, online play would be ridiculously terrible as it would be dominated by Magnetos, Storms, and Cables d.LK, d.HP, superjump, HK, airdash DF, d.LK, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK, normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK,normal jump, LP, d.LK, LP, LK... <- typical combo in MvC2 1 cool point if you can tell me who it's for the only way they can redeem this game is to figure out how to make an insane-o game infinite-proof, which is going to be plain impossible because they're just going to find a new group of infinitive characters If they just put in a Guilty Gear-style combo breaker move that anyone can use against infinites, this game would be instantly amazing RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Alpha Six - 04-25-2009 let's be real; it's gonna be a port RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - HunterZ - 04-25-2009 What if it was MVC3? Pffft, like that would happen. RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Alpha Six - 04-25-2009 It's called Tatsunoko vs Capcom and it is infinitely superior. Sounds like you buy games for all the wrong reasons to me.. o.O *sigh* If only people would learn to stop buying based on company or characters present in a game, developers might learn to try to make profit based on quality instead of impulse sales. But as long as people go "ZOMG CLOUD" when they make a purchase, I guess we're stuck with all the same rehashed crap year afteryear. RE: Capcom fail as "suspense" on countdowns. - Cobalt Blue - 04-27-2009 not my flashback. never bothered to waste money on that. if capcom really needs to make another Vs series, Konami should be the way to go. |
