I got to the second last level of this in coop at a friends house the other day. What an amazing game. They better not screw this up. IMO the worst thing they could do would be basing it on the newer show. Also they better keep the statue of liberty theft.

I kinda liked the newer TMNT. Like, the one that ran though 2004. They've went and fucked it up since then.

But I only played the first and second TMNT games for NES when I was pretty small. I can't remember much about them. IV is better than those ones, eh?

Well, if this makes it's way to Wiiware and/or PSN, I'll definitley get it

This was my favorite game as a kid. I hope it does get on wii ware.

@ Tuna & Arks

here, read these.
official B/W comics dating back to 1984, predating the old series. the new series is based closely on them.

@ Goemar
well Tokka & Rahzar remain as the bosses for the pirateship level. as they were in the arcade version.
mentioned here. and looks like the guy who wrote this never saw the original, even corrected by one of the commenters.

still, i prefer Cement Man over Slash. it's pretty cool how they had an obscure one-time henchman as a boss
he appears in this episode

New graphics, original music? Oh my... sounds like this'll kick ass.

They made shredder an alien, got rid of krang, and made baxter stockman an annoying black guy who just wouldn't die. For that i will never forgive them.

uh, Baxter was black to begin with

Krang was created for the old show only. he was loosly based on the brain-looking aliens known as Utroms.

infomation about the comics.

i could go on, but i'll stop here.

I realize that, but baxter stockman wasn't so obnoxious originally and krang was still awesome. I admit the newer one had its merits, the animation was very nice for example and the shredder was much more intimidating, but for the most part I prefer the old one.

The old show also has something the new one probably never will.

Uncle Phil.

i understand now. but i'm happy with both shows. Wink

i wonder if the remake will have updated voices. the 4Kids actors whould only work for the turtles & Shredder, or the voice actors from the forth movie as the tutles
still be nice if they brought back the original cast to re-record them though.
shame Jim Cummings was Shredder in the original game rather than James Avery. he's Awesome

I kinda hope they keep the old voices. Has a nice nostalgic feeling each time I hear a turtle say "ow, my toe!" in that weird SNES way.
