RE: TF2 Sniper update - Skink - 05-13-2009

Hells yea they brought double payload back.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Tero - 05-13-2009

The Sniper update looks promising so far.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Lemonray - 05-14-2009

I wonder what they'll give him to replace the SMG?
Because I'd take anything over that piece of shit.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Sol - 05-14-2009

Hey, screw you, I OWN with the SMG.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Tero - 05-14-2009

Golden Machine Gun

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Skink - 05-14-2009

FUCK YEA RAZORBACK

I love this, the anti-spy shield. I will kill them ALL.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - GrooveMan.exe - 05-14-2009

So it protects you from one backstab. No other melee or ranged weapons, just backstab. Then it crumbles.

Useless weapon. It'd be easier to just go ahead and die, or the Spy would just unload revolver bullets into your skull.
Edit: And since when did wood conduct electricity?

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Cobalt Blue - 05-14-2009

since you can build things by just waving a wrench.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - GrooveMan.exe - 05-14-2009

Engineer is excused for being a canon supergenius with like, 10 PHDs.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Cooltrainer♂ Spudmeister - 05-14-2009

And since you could fly by firing a rocket at your feet.

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Tero - 05-14-2009

I don't know if I'd use it or not, it seems too one minded.

Please don't do the whole logic in video games thing, there are times where you should just overlook the fact that things don't make sense.

Everyone can instantly heal themselves of all injuries by walking up to a medical cabinet, The Heavy can recover from injuries by eating sandwiches, The Medic shoots vapor out of a gun that heals wounds, the Engineer builds teleporters, the Scout can execute a jump in midair, literally out of nothing, the Spy can turn invisible and make himself into a carbon copy of an enemy by using a "disguise kit," the Soldier and Demoman can propel themselves into the air without being killed by igniting explosives at their feet, and the Pyro can unleash a fatal puff of flame from his hands.

None of these things really matter because they don't hurt the integrity of the game. I think you can let the Sniper off just this one time. Wink

RE: TF2 Sniper update - Cobalt Blue - 05-14-2009

actually the game lacks integrity and thats why its so funny in both graphics and gameplay.

See, I can buy all that. It's cartoon logic - Looney Tunes have probably done most of those several times over.

But electrocuting someone with wood seems... wrong. I suppose suspension of disbelief says that there's a metal plate behind the wood or something, the the way the shield looks (and breaks into tiny pieces) rules out that idea.

Australian wood conducts electricity? =|

Well, if we're really looking for some explanation, it could be that there's just a thin sheet of metal, like foil.
