RE: Looking for some programs or advice. - Cobalt Blue - 06-10-2009 no one here has any experience with byond, nor to any of its formats. as I see it, there are two posibilities: one that what you're exactly asking is how to work on larger images that said built in editor doesnt allow to create(such as a tall statue). if thats the case, I could asume that Byond works based on tiles. what you could do is actually draw the object(the statue in this case) but drawing the hips and below in one section and the rest of the body in the second. then you could merge them like a puzzle to create a larger image of two smaller ones. second is that you actually believe that using certain software would allow you to produce better and more sofisticated sprites than the byond editor allows you. i warn you this is not true unless you're aiming for specific stuff as 3D renders or vectors. having the editor being equal or better than MSPaint is already all you need to create sprites, since the quality comes out of your hand. i do recomend you ask for futher guidance and support at the byond comunities out there, since they have the knowledge and experience to actually solve these issues. |
